Emergency Medical Services Fellowship Program.
A fellowship training program that prepares physicians in the leadership and medical oversight of pre- and out-of-hospital emergency care systems with advanced competencies in Emergency Medical System (EMS) system design, administration, and clinical care. Includes instruction in clinical aspects of EMS, medical oversight of EMS, mass casualty management, disaster planning and operations, wilderness EMS systems, and quality management and research. Requires prior completion of a residency program in emergency medicine. This CIP code is not valid for IPEDS reporting.
