A fellowship training program that prepares physicians to prevent and manage athletic injuries and to provide appropriate care for all structures of the musculoskeletal system directly affected by participation in sporting activity. Requires prior completion of a residency program in orthopedic surgery. This CIP code is not valid for IPEDS reporting.
